After years of saving and months of planning, I quit my 9-5 job in the summer of 2023 to pursue my dreams of traveling the world full-time for one year! I roped my boyfriend, Luke, into my crazy plans and together we headed out to check off as much of our bucket list as possible.

Luke and I are both big adventure seekers! We live for tough hikes, powder days, long roadtrips, camping under the stars, beautiful sunsets and venturing to places less explored. In our one year on the road, we explored over 27 countries across Europe, Central America, South America, Asia and Australia.

As our crazy year of adventure travel come to an end, I wanted a place to document our journey and share all of the amazing places we explored. That's where this blog comes into play! I plan to share our favorite itineraries, hidden gems, outdoor adventures, travel hacks, and so much more. I hope this blog serves as an inspiration and resource for those looking to get out and explore our beautiful world.

I caught the travel bug when I was young. I grew up on the North Shore of Long Island, just outside of New York City. While it was a nice place to grow up, I never fell in love with New York like so many do. I always felt this pull to get out and see what was beyond! A sentiment that was definitely propelled by countless family roadtrips up and down the east coast and summers spent in the New England mountains.

As I grew up, my curiosity of the world only expanded! I travelled internationally for the first time on a school trip to Spain at 16 and went back to Europe on my first solo trip to explore Denmark and Sweden the summer I graduated high school.
When it was time to head to college, my adventurous spirit sent me as far away from home (within the US) as I could get - San Diego, CA. After a year in the California sun, my academic pursuits lead me to Nashville, TN. I loved having the opportunity to experience two completely new areas of the country while pursuing a degree.

After graduating college, I went on a six week backpacking trip across Europe with my sister before I moved to Boston, MA and began my "adult life". I worked as a Structural Engineer designing bridges and tunnels and then as a Project Manager for a commercial real estate developer. While working hard, I squeezed all my adventuring into my weekends and PTO days. By the time I was 27, I had visited 35 US states and 14 different countries!

However, after 5 years of full time work, 4 different apartments, 3 different roommates, 2 corporate jobs and 1 global pandemic, I was ready to change things up. I wanted to see more of the world and explore some of my creative passions. So that's exactly what I did - I gave up my apartment, sold my furniture, packed my life into a carry-on, grabbed my camera, and set off!
